This travel guide book tells about the 10 most popular countries for the year 2010, such as El Salvador, Germany, Greece, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, New Zealand, Portugal, Suriname and the United States.

While for 10 popular cities in 2010, according to Lonely Planet is Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Charleston (SC), Cork (Ireland), Cuenca (Ecuador), Istanbul (Turkey), Kyoto (Japan), Lecce (Italy), Sarajevo (Bosnia-Herzegonia), Singapore and Vancouver (Canada). State the purpose of having the best historical value is still according to the Lonely Planet Iceland, Thailand, London, South Africa, Malaysia, Mexico, India, Bulgaria, Kenya and Las Vegas.
